Description:	Originally from the Champagne region of France, the Gruet family founded their first Champagne House in 1952. The family came to the U.S. in 1981 and traveled extensively throughout the southwest and California searching for the perfect climate and soil conditions needed to create excellent sparkling wines. After careful analysis they chose New Mexico. In 1984 Laurent Gruet, Farld Himeur and his wife, Nathalle, moved to New Mexico, bringing years of combined experience and knowledge in the tradition of champagne.The Vineyards that produce the grapes for the Brut NV program are located in Engle, New Mexico. This sparkling wine is made from 75% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Noir. The Brut NV offers a crisp and full-bodied sparkling wine, which has developed, rich complexity and refined texture with great small and refreshing bubbles. The allure of it’s toasty finish is a compliment to the sophisticated apple and citrus flavor.
