| Description: |
According to legend, Native Americans called Sonoma Valley "Valley of the Moon" because the moon appears to rise several times a night behind surrounding hills.
This Bordeaux Style blend, known as a Meritage in California, is a rich and approachable 'Big Red.' Wonderful flavors of ripe red fruit mingle with silky tannins and a creamy soft chocolate finish. The goal of this wine was to create a very big and complex wine, while displaying the wonderful rich fruit that is blended from four different vineyard sources. We recommend this wine with a hearty steak, roasted meats, and especially lamb. |
